Florida’s Premier Millinery Shop

‘Til Death Hat Co.

A one-of-a-kind shop in the Sunshine State.

Making legacy hats isn’t easy. That’s probably why virtually no one else in Florida does it.

Our revival of the old school hat shop brings a renaissance of millinery not just to our home in Ybor City for the first time in decades, but to the entire state of Florida. Outside of our brick & mortar store in the heart of Tampa, the next closest of our fraternal skill workers are found in their respective shops in Georgia. Our shop is helmed by Ash Dudney, who has the special designation as an understudy of legendary milliner Tom Hirt (whose work is famed in Conagher, Tombstone, and The Quick and the Dead to name a few). No two hatters make hats the same - but having some legendary guidance doesn’t hurt.

As much as we may get tired of the “mad hatter” cliche, you really do have to have a couple screws loose to start a hat shop. Naturally flowing with the trope, when Ash isn’t working on hats, he’s typically alone in the middle of the night in the middle of the Everglades hunting pythons to help our native ecosystems and bring back some bad ass product for the shop in the process. And that’s just the halfway stop-over for hunting iguanas in Key West.

‘Til Death hats are made just as the namesake suggests: ‘Til Death. Using robust & developed techniques that are assuredly unique to our shop & process, the structural integrity of our hats are second to none. Our styles are inspired homages to the classics, loyal to the grit & pride of quality craftsmanship, and made to last ‘til the very end.
